Our name carries our wish: to build a “second home” after the family for every child who comes to Hugo House. With long experience in building schools, our founder and experienced teachers are committed to creating a safe, beautiful place to learn and grow – the foundation for every child's development.
Our curriculum follows the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training framework for early childhood, combined with the spirit and philosophy of the Montessori and Reggio Emilia approaches, drawing out each child's hidden abilities so they can grow into lifelong strengths.

The Ministry of Education and Training curriculum combined with Montessori and Reggio Emilia, to support five areas of development: language, physical, aesthetic, cognitive, and social-emotional skills.
At Hugo House, children have plenty of outdoor space: lawns, sandpits, water play areas, an art room, a unique library and a small garden where children look after plants and learn about nature. We put special emphasis on outdoor lessons – children learn while they play and explore.

Teachers act as guides – talking with children, encouraging them, helping them fit in and bringing out their hidden abilities. Teachers do not interfere with children's freedom to express themselves; they are patient and encourage children to do everything they can by themselves.
Our teachers regularly attend professional training led by Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, and are trained in multi-sensory teaching methods, first aid and handling situations during outdoor activities.

The first years of life are when children grow fastest – physically, in language and emotionally. So what we put first is that every child is safe, loved and happy to come to school each day.
At Hugo House, children learn through play, through experience and through small everyday tasks: feeding themselves, tidying up toys, greeting their teachers, sharing with friends. Our curriculum follows the Ministry of Education and Training standard, combined with Montessori, Reggio Emilia and English with international teachers, so children get to know a second language naturally and without pressure.
We see parents as our closest partners. Teachers keep you updated on your child's meals, sleep and every step of progress.
